Blanket(s) blanket– I actually like to have a blanket and a picnic blanket

Clothes- I don’t carry extra clothes with me now that the kids are older but not a bad idea still. There was a time we were at a soccer meet for my son something happened to my daughters pants and I had a good will sack in the back. It came in handy. For these clothes recommend finding at a second hand or garage sale. These bags are perfect to store you extra clothes. Another option is a pack of basic color shorts and basic color tees.
Hand Sanitizer/Sunscreen/Bug Spray/First Aid- We are out and about in the summer. It is nice to just have things like sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. With these items do check the safety of leaving them in the car some do not do will in extreme heat or cold. Always carry a first aid supplies with you.
Organization/Cleaning- This organizer is simple and affordable. I learned this from the Car Mom keep a bin in your car to throw things in to make car pick up easy. You could use the other one I linked but I prefer plastic for this. I have a small car vacuum to pick up small items. Cloth paper towels also come in useful. In addition to baby wipes.
Toys- When I’m saying toys in the car. I am saying both ones that they can play with in the car but also ones that can be taken out of the car. Also when considering these stay in the car toys I would consider ones that are good for a long age range like this doodle board. Even though my kids are older it can still be useful to have something in the car such has a football (this is a for the destination item)
