If you know me, you know I love researching anything related to travel — especially carry-ons.
Pro tip: Always double-check that a bag meets the size requirements for the airline you travel with most often, or the one you’re buying the bag for!
This is an updated version of a post I wrote about a year ago. Spoiler: my favorite bag is still the same!
My #1 Pick: The Calpak Duffle
If anyone is ever looking for a gift idea for me — this is it.
The only thing holding me back is the price, but I am obsessed with it: the color, the waterproof material, the pockets — I want it so bad.

The Amazon Backpack
This is the one both my daughter and I currently use.
I love the compartments for organization.
The other holds clothes for a few days.
There’s also a shoe compartment — I haven’t used it much yet, but it’s a nice option to have.
One section is packed with everything I need on the plane.

Packing Light Option
Perfect for a short trip when you want to travel with just one bag.
Features:
- Outer pocket for quick access
- Two inner mesh pockets for small items
- Two side mesh pockets for bottles or umbrellas
Great layout to stay organized on the go!

The Beautiful Tote
Another bag that’s a little pricey, but I first saw it on TikTok and it looks so nice.
For packing clothes, I’m not sure how much you could actually fit — but for all your airport essentials, it looks like an outstanding choice.

Last one is my sisters find
This one’s also a little expensive, but it’s made from recycled water bottles, which is amazing!
It has multiple zippers for organization and can be carried as either a duffle or a backpack — love that feature.

Which one is your favorite? For right now staying with my affordable backpack.
