It’s that time of year—back to school! As I get ready to head back to work, I’m kicking off a little style series to share what I’m actually planning to wear. This is my first outfit of the season, and I’m loving how simple yet elevated it feels.
I started with a beautiful beige top from Anthropologie that has eye-catching blue pouf sleeves. It adds just the right amount of fun and color to an otherwise neutral palette. I paired it with soft taupe pants for a polished, work-appropriate look that’s still comfortable enough for busy days. The cardigan in the photo is from Amazon, but in real life, I’ll be wearing an old favorite—my trusty Old Navy cardigan that’s been in rotation for years.

Since my Anthropologie finds were on sale and might not be available for long, I recreated the look using pieces currently available on Amazon. I’m offering two shirt options depending on your style:
- For a playful twist: A black-and-white striped puff sleeve tee with a pop of blue at the cuff. It gives the same fun vibe as the original top.
- For a simpler version: A classic beige short-sleeve sweater that keeps things clean and neutral.
Both tops pair perfectly with the taupe pants. I’ll be finishing the look with black shoes and a structured black work bag to keep everything pulled together and professional.
