Packing for Five Days in KC

I’m packing for five days in KC (Kansas City,) where I’ll be staying at a hotel. I plan to change outfits between day and night on some occasions. For this reason, it might seem like a lot of clothes. Since I’m driving, I want a comfortable outfit for both the trip there and back. I usually stick to a color theme when packing, though this time it happened unintentionally—it turns out blue is the dominant color.

Tops 6-7

Six to seven tops might sound like a lot but as I said I might switch at night and after my drive there. You could easy cut this in half if that is not your plan. My tops all really could be worn with any of the pants so then I have options when I get there. I love this dark blue top, I am super tempted to get it in other colors. I love this blue graphic shirt (Butterfly Tee). The next shirt I have is this boxy tee. I love the cute fox and bird graphic. My blue shirt is sold out it was From Anthropologie. Here is a similar one from Amazon. This shirt I am loving, I would pair this with the jeans for the night out. The last shirt is this tree graphic t-shirt (love yourself tee).

Pants 4-5

I love these mustard parachute pants (no longer available). Here is an option for Amazon. We have an outdoor event we are going to one night so I think summer Jeans and a t-shirt that night. I have these blue pant’s they are super comfortable (sadly sold out). Here is an Amazon option for the blue pants. I have two joggers, I’m packing. I feel like you can dress them up and bit and they are comfortable. The first one is these beige ones. The green joggers are me adding in another color. After reflection, I would not bring the joggers.

2 items for layering

For my five-day trip to Kansas City, I’m bringing a cardigan sweater similar to this one—perfect for summer when you need just a touch of extra warmth. I also love this blazer for a casual yet comfortable look that works well in warm weather.

1 Shoe

I love these shoes are comfortable.

1 Dress

I have two denim dresses both are older. Here is a link on Amazon to a similar one. I have the dress to wear to a dinner.

Suitcase:

Duffel with wheels, for me, this is a great option because we drove. Yet it’s easy to roll through the parking garage and hotel to get to your room. This is a small suitcase we own.
