What I am Wearing: Something Blue Sunday Addition

There’s something I’ve really leaned into over the past year, and honestly, it’s been such a refreshing shift—wearing what I already own and then finding ways to recreate those looks with pieces that are currently available. Because let’s be real… so many of our favorite items are no longer sold by the time we truly fall in love with them.

Today’s outfit is a perfect example of that.

It’s a simple Sunday look, but one that just feels like me. I wore a light blue t-shirt with ruffle short sleeves from Anthropologie (sadly, no longer available) paired with my go-to jeans from Gap. Easy, comfortable, and put together without trying too hard. That soft blue has become one of those colors I keep reaching for again and again—it just feels fresh and effortless.

Since that exact top isn’t available anymore, I wanted to recreate the look in a couple of ways.

The first version stays really true to the original vibe. I found a similar light wash jean from Gap—just a bit lighter than mine—and paired it with a flowy light blue t-shirt from American Eagle. It gives that same relaxed, feminine feel with a modern update.

The second version leans slightly different but still keeps the heart of the outfit. I found a blue ruffle sleeve top on Amazon and paired it with a darker wash jean, which is a look I’ve really been loving lately. There’s something about that contrast that feels a little more elevated while still being completely wearable for everyday.

And I can’t forget the shoes—my blue Adidas sneakers. I grabbed them on sale, and they’ve honestly been one of my favorite purchases. They add just the right pop of color and pull everything together in a fun, casual way.

This Anthropologie top was one of those pieces that just worked. The kind you reach for without thinking and always feel good in. And maybe that’s why I’ve realized how much I’ve been drawn to blue over the past couple of years—it’s easy, flattering, and just makes me feel like myself.

If you’re trying to shop your closet more, this is your reminder: you don’t have to start over to feel refreshed. Sometimes it’s just about reimagining what you already love—and finding a few new pieces that help bring that look back to life.
